EMBRACE YOUR STRANGENESS

Work your way from its inception to when you first heard about it. Study its history to when you were told. How does it make sense and add up to be what it is, how it happened and came to be, how you managed to get it.

Get the sequence right, first. Structure matters. Study the history. When was it first written? Where did it first appear? How did this psychological condition arise in consciousness? Trace it back to its origins. The evolutionary rise in consciousness. Understand the start.

How do you go from having mental disorders to one day waking up intelligent and no longer having them?

This process requires digging deep into research dating back from 1970’s. Find and read everything you can get your hands on the subjects of happiness, creativity, and flow. Then start from over 50-years ago to now.

Extrinsically motivated people will only seek to do anything if it pays them. Whereas intrinsically motivated people do it and don’t care if no one ever notices. They don’t even care if it never makes any money. They do it for something far more meaningful. Not external rewards but internal feelings. The opportunity to reach their full potential. The chance to feel alive.

For these kinds, doing something hard well is its own reward. And they derive terrible amounts of pleasure through struggling in a voluntary effort with tasks that stretch and increase their cognitive complexity. This total engagement provides happiness and life satisfaction, which then leads to even greater productivity. By loving the work they do they experience joy from each moment involved with their work.

They will continue to do it for no other reason than how it makes them feel.

If only we could get more people to experience this state of affairs, far less people would not only not feel depressed, but never have the time to.

Therefore that is the ambitious goal this work seeks to accomplish. The principles, if followed, persistently, religiously, with extreme discipline and intense focus, will quite literally alter your existing brain chemistry.
